I do not know whether beach volleyball will qualify as the most difficult game on the planet but I can certainly confirm that this can be a tough game for fit and healthy individuals. Yes, the game is played in two-piece bikinis. Yes, the audience seems to be interested in what the player is wearing as opposed to how well she is playing. However, that does not mean that each and every individual who plays this sport is interested in showing off.

Well, what is so wrong if an individual who has worked very hard at her fitness and physique shows it off by being good at beach volleyball? This just cannot be a valid reason to remove this sport from the Olympics. In any case, we have ample proof that sports involving woman enjoy a lot of popularity by focusing on glamour. A female parcel delivery executive gets a lot more smiles than a male executive. That is how the world runs. I feel that this is probably the only sport that helps woman be themselves on the beach. Of course, the sport is not as lame as it is made out to be. It requires a lot of effort and skills.

At the end of the day, the person described as prancing around in a two-piece bikini is actually a highly skilled player who has practiced a lot to ensure that she does a good job on the field at all times. The exposure to the sun, sand and surf there is an added bonus. This is why this game should not be removed from the Olympics.

In fact, the game should be popularized further so that other countries that suppressed women can learn that it is perfectly acceptable for women to wear less clothes and play a sport in the sun and sand if they want to. In any case, the authorities administering the sport have come up with an alternative uniform that helps women avoid wearing two piece suits. This should be good enough for conservative people as well.

On the other hand, your girlfriends will probably be interested in learning more about the facilities and amenities available at the hotel. They would want to know whether shopping facilities are available nearby. You realize that you are equally interested in these things but are just interested in surfing a bit more than all other things. You must be careful because you may end up in a situation where it is just not possible to pull yourself back.

I have known individuals who have refused to go on a holiday simply because the waves in the local beach were simply too good to miss. I have heard family members and friends grumbling about how the female surfer had become addicted to surfing. Well, that is how this sport works and there is no running away from this fact. The best option available at your disposal is to adopt a balanced approach.

Instead of focusing on surfing alone, you can make use of your contacts and form a beach volleyball team. Then, try to get your girlfriends addicted to surfing. This may not be very fair but is the simplest option. If you cannot beat them, then convert them to your cause by telling them that you refuse to lose even if they win. This will automatically convince them to join you instead.

If you are of the opinion that women are uncomfortable with the bikini because of their figure, then think again. A woman surfer is obviously going to be fit and have a well toned body. What matters is the fit and comfort levels. Chances of the bottom coming off is very remote. Of course, going in for a flouncy strip of cloth that is held together by a string that can be disastrous when surfing the waves. However, going in for an option that is held together by velcro and elastic will provide a comfortable fit.

Unfortunately, the same approach cannot be adopted for the bikini covering the upper half. This can place a lot of pressure and stress on the shoulders and neck and make the entire process very uncomfortable. Of course, there is the question of looking fashionable as well. In such a scenario, it is indeed heartening to find that there are women surfers who have gone ahead and launched a fashionable and strong line of bikinis for surfing.
This is important because a malfunction of the wardrobe will leave the woman surfer in a very delicate position. Chances are high that the individual may lose her balance just because she found it imperative to protect her modesty as compared to maintaining balance on the race.

Wales has unfortunately not got a reputation as being a beach hangout destination of choice, rather it known mainly for its rainfall and its sheep! However, don’t be fooled by these stereotypical features because Wales is actually home to some truly fabulous coastline and surfing spots that rank amongst the best in the United Kingdom. Furthermore the quaint villages and towns that lay around these surf spots making visiting even more enticing!

For those beach babes who are looking for get involved in the Welsh surf you are best off heading down to the West Wales coastline, you may even consider hiring a campervan and driving rough the way around the coast! The area does get busy with locals and visitors alike when the surf is good, but if you are prepared to walk along the coastline you will find more secluded spots.

Llangennith on the Gower in West Wales is probably the most popular surf spot in Wales, harbouring beach breaks right across it’s three mile stretch. The town of Llangenith is super quaint with lots of small shops and cafes. Why not take some time to sample the local cakes and icecream after a long day at the beach or browse the shops and get yourself some of the gorgeous turquoise and silver jewellery you often see in this area.

For the more advanced surfer the best spots to hit in Wales are Freshwater West and Whitesands, both situated along the Pembrokeshire Coast and The Severn Bore (River Severn). I have been surfing for a number of years now and have surfed in many parts of the world. Yes, you may say I really love surfing. Recently I decided to try out somewhere that is new or relatively new for surfing. I saw a YouTube video of a very small surfing competition that took place in Jamaica and decided to go there to see what it was like.

Now I had never been to Jamaica before and all I really knew about the country was that it was an island in the Caribbean, and that they had the fastest man in the world over 100m. So when I landed it was sunshine and more sunshine, yes it was hotter than I was used to but I kind of liked it.

Now let me clear, there are Waves in Jamaica. Basically from what some other surfer I met there have told me, there are waves all year round. I was at Boston Bay and the waves were pretty good. There were no board shop there but you can rent one for up to $20.

Another great location for surfing is Bully Bay and this is where you will find the Jamnesia Surf club. This is where you will likely find the president of the Jamaica Surfing Association, Billy Mystic. Billy was more than helpful and his family was also wonderful. The beach at Bully Bay is clean and not crowded, there was a guy there selling some art, it was not as good as the work of Sarah Jane Szikora, and the waves are really good.

Jamaica is really a great place to go surfing and the food is also as tasty as you would expect.

Girls, girls, girls, how much do you hate your butt today? Me? I hate it so much I want to scream. If you’re like me then I’m guessing that even if you don’t have the worst butt in the world, there are still days when you wish you could beat it with a stick until it looked the right shape. I mean, that goes without saying. I don’t know anyone – well, apart from maybe just one girl – who doesn’t hate their own butt at least once a week.

Well, enough of the butt hatred: have no fear, because there’s no need to resort to violence. And if you’re thinking it’s just for bimbos with no brains then think again…

In fact, beach Volleyball uses your wit, your athleticism, and lots of parts of your brain which deal with problem solving. It uses pretty much everything as it happens, and I’m not just saying that: you only need to look at the video below to see that these girls mean business. That’s because not only are you jumping around and defending and spiking that ball, but you’re also spending a large amount of time working with your team to decide on the best tactics for getting that next all-important point.

Apart from stimulating the mind and utilising virtually every thought process going, Volleyball is also great for the butt, as I mentioned, and also the arms and core muscles. By jumping and spiking you’ll be giving the arms something to think about, and upon landing you’ll be stressing your thighs, which will also lead to healthy calves and strong stomach muscles. All this and you get to have fun doing it.

Be aware that your first game will physically hit you quite hard. It’ll pound on your stomach and make you feel like you can’t get out of bed in the morning. But that’s not to say it’s not worth it, as it is. Volleyball is one of the best kept sporting secrets, and that’s not the only positive thing: you get to hang out on the beach afterwards while the day fades and the BBQ gets fired up. Not bad for a bit of recreation that many people think is just for the vanity!
