If you are of the opinion that women are uncomfortable with the bikini because of their figure, then think again. A woman surfer is obviously going to be fit and have a well toned body. What matters is the fit and comfort levels. Chances of the bottom coming off is very remote. Of course, going in for a flouncy strip of cloth that is held together by a string that can be disastrous when surfing the waves. However, going in for an option that is held together by velcro and elastic will provide a comfortable fit.

Unfortunately, the same approach cannot be adopted for the bikini covering the upper half. This can place a lot of pressure and stress on the shoulders and neck and make the entire process very uncomfortable. Of course, there is the question of looking fashionable as well. In such a scenario, it is indeed heartening to find that there are women surfers who have gone ahead and launched a fashionable and strong line of bikinis for surfing.
This is important because a malfunction of the wardrobe will leave the woman surfer in a very delicate position. Chances are high that the individual may lose her balance just because she found it imperative to protect her modesty as compared to maintaining balance on the race.

Wales has unfortunately not got a reputation as being a beach hangout destination of choice, rather it known mainly for its rainfall and its sheep! However, don’t be fooled by these stereotypical features because Wales is actually home to some truly fabulous coastline and surfing spots that rank amongst the best in the United Kingdom. Furthermore the quaint villages and towns that lay around these surf spots making visiting even more enticing!

For those beach babes who are looking for get involved in the Welsh surf you are best off heading down to the West Wales coastline, you may even consider hiring a campervan and driving rough the way around the coast! The area does get busy with locals and visitors alike when the surf is good, but if you are prepared to walk along the coastline you will find more secluded spots.

Llangennith on the Gower in West Wales is probably the most popular surf spot in Wales, harbouring beach breaks right across it’s three mile stretch. The town of Llangenith is super quaint with lots of small shops and cafes. Why not take some time to sample the local cakes and icecream after a long day at the beach or browse the shops and get yourself some of the gorgeous turquoise and silver jewellery you often see in this area.

For the more advanced surfer the best spots to hit in Wales are Freshwater West and Whitesands, both situated along the Pembrokeshire Coast and The Severn Bore (River Severn). Wales is a truly beautiful place to visit, it is steeped in history as well a jaw dropping scenery, and whats more for the beach babe, it offers a gorgeous array of sandy coastlines to enjoy.

I have been surfing for a number of years now and have surfed in many parts of the world. Yes, you may say I really love surfing. Recently I decided to try out somewhere that is new or relatively new for surfing. I saw a YouTube video of a very small surfing competition that took place in Jamaica and decided to go there to see what it was like.

Now I had never been to Jamaica before and all I really knew about the country was that it was an island in the Caribbean, and that they had the fastest man in the world over 100m. So when I landed it was sunshine and more sunshine, yes it was hotter than I was used to but I kind of liked it.

Now let me clear, there are Waves in Jamaica. Basically from what some other surfer I met there have told me, there are waves all year round. I was at Boston Bay and the waves were pretty good. There were no board shop there but you can rent one for up to $20.

Another great location for surfing is Bully Bay and this is where you will find the Jamnesia Surf club. This is where you will likely find the president of the Jamaica Surfing Association, Billy Mystic. Billy was more than helpful and his family was also wonderful. The beach at Bully Bay is clean and not crowded, there was a guy there selling some art, it was not as good as the work of Sarah Jane Szikora, and the waves are really good.

Jamaica is really a great place to go surfing and the food is also as tasty as you would expect.

Girls, girls, girls, how much do you hate your butt today? Me? I hate it so much I want to scream. If you’re like me then I’m guessing that even if you don’t have the worst butt in the world, there are still days when you wish you could beat it with a stick until it looked the right shape. I mean, that goes without saying. I don’t know anyone – well, apart from maybe just one girl – who doesn’t hate their own butt at least once a week.

Well, enough of the butt hatred: have no fear, because there’s no need to resort to violence. Instead, why not stop searching online – I can’t really talk, I just spent some time looking at www.digital-display-printing.co.uk but you know what they say, do as I say not what I do – and consider taking up beach Volleyball? And if you’re thinking it’s just for bimbos with no brains then think again…

In fact, beach Volleyball uses your wit, your athleticism, and lots of parts of your brain which deal with problem solving. It uses pretty much everything as it happens, and I’m not just saying that: you only need to look at the video below to see that these girls mean business. That’s because not only are you jumping around and defending and spiking that ball, but you’re also spending a large amount of time working with your team to decide on the best tactics for getting that next all-important point.

Apart from stimulating the mind and utilising virtually every thought process going, Volleyball is also great for the butt, as I mentioned, and also the arms and core muscles. By jumping and spiking you’ll be giving the arms something to think about, and upon landing you’ll be stressing your thighs, which will also lead to healthy calves and strong stomach muscles. All this and you get to have fun doing it.

Be aware that your first game will physically hit you quite hard. It’ll pound on your stomach and make you feel like you can’t get out of bed in the morning. But that’s not to say it’s not worth it, as it is. Volleyball is one of the best kept sporting secrets, and that’s not the only positive thing: you get to hang out on the beach afterwards while the day fades and the BBQ gets fired up. Not bad for a bit of recreation that many people think is just for the vanity!

There are some sports which are incredibly athletic but not amazingly fun to watch, such as the high jump. Then there are some sports which are riveting but don’t require any amazing technical prowess, such as tandem skydiving.
Beach volleyball is one of those sports which have it all (and in case you were wondering, Olympic curling is an example of one which has neither excitement nor great physical feats.)
The benefit for players of beach volleyball are many. You can set it up anywhere with very Little hastle (so long as you’re on a beach, obviously). You don’t need masses of technical or expensive equipment, as with scuba diving, and the game can start as soon as you have a net up and four people up for a bit of fun. You can take it seriously (scores are easy to keep, unlike, say, cricket) or you can just have a bit of a mess around akin to using jumpers to mark out a football pitch on the school playground. And since you’re playing on sand, you’re unlikely to come to any serious injury or strife, though we’ll be the first to admit that taking a ball square in the face does smart somewhat.
On top of all this, beach volleyball is a fantastic spectator’s sport - it’s easily the sexiest one going, so much so keeping your eye on the ball is often secondary priority to watching the players themselves bouncing around.
Lastly, you can get a terrific tan while either playing or spectating. After an intense year of investing with companies like Galvan research and trading, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s not the winter holidays I look forward to, it’s unwinding on the beach in the Summer.

After a long day working at my partner’s horse lorry insurance firm, I like many others like nothing more than hanging out on the beach. But when you’ve got access to sun and sand all year round, where does a beach babe go for her holidays? Here I offer my advice on venturing to the other end of the temperature spectrum.

If you want to go skiing, then you’ll want to make sure that the experience is as enjoyable as possible, and not a whole week of struggling on the little slopes, making yourself frustrating with your ability and your desire to at least be able to attempt the simplest blue category slope before the end of the week. While you will be skiing, you are after all on holiday and you should at least try to enjoy yourself and do everything you can to avoid adding stresses to the vacation.
You’ll be much happier if before you even book your holiday to the Italian Alps, the Swiss side, to somewhere in France, Germany, Austria or Canada, you take a few lessons first. This can be done by making a trip down to your local dry slope skiing venue, as many times as possible before you actually go skiing. By doing this you’ll ensure that you will be in the novice rather than amateur group before you start.
At the dry skiing resort near your home you can concentrate on making sure that your basic skills are up to scratch and that you are able to perform the basic moves such as the snowplough stop, the snowplough turn, and to work on your basic and immediate stop. By learning this, when you actually get on the slopes you’ll then be able to work on your parrellel turns as quickly as possible. Once you’ve got these nailed your whole experience of skiiing will be substantially increased and you won’t be frustrated by the effort to get up to speed.
